Welcome to the Decatur Group of Alcoholics Anonymous

The Decatur Texas Alcoholics Anonymous is a community of both men and women who share their common experience, hope and strength with each other in order to solve their common problem. If you suffer from problems related to drinking alcohol, A.A. is a place where you will find help and hope.

The Decatur Group holds meetings daily at the AA house on business highway 287 (Washburn Street). This is the same strip of road that takes you from Dairy Queen, Taco Bell and on up to the Skating Rink.

The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

Visitors are welcome to attend open meetings.

Our primary purpose so to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.

We have profited greatly from the unity and the program of AA which includes the 12 steps and the traditions of Alcoholics Anonymous.
